IAD2 3: There Will Be Lateness by Chris Leavens

By Chris Leavens

I need to sleep, so I'm stopping this one although I think more time could make it better:

As I was drawing this one, I realized that river/stream themes have appeared twice in a row. Sorry.

Something about this resonates with how I've been feeling lately. It makes me feel melancholy, but in a cool, Victorian way. This is a strong piece and I think we need to finish working on an old story and then start a new one based on this.

I feel that this represents some sort of poignant story in the mythos of a new First Peoples who have staked a claim on a distant world in the mist-shrouded days at the far end of our own future history...

I was pretty unsure about this one, so it's nice to know that it's appreciated to some degree. Also, yes, it might be a good one to move in a story direction.

Perhaps you've been drinking a lot of fluids lately? Like blood?
