Fun With Chinese Copy by Chris Woodward

I was recently at the Mall at Steamtown and ate at the fine Chinese establishment located in the luxurious food court. Being the sinophile that I am, I decided to try and eat my fine Orange Chicken with chopsticks. And I was granted another glance at amazing adventures in the world of Chinese copy.

We've become a very China-centric website as of late. Is this their creeping influence; a slow, methodical inundation of every societal niche? If so, the world will be submerged in a Maoist-red ocean sooner than previously imagined.

When I saw these images, I was pretty sure it was from the Productof region of China, because they're dialect is notorious for being hard to translate. Your third image proves that, once again, I'm right.

I've seen various iterations of this packaging at different Chinese restaurants around the country. Seems to be "famous," as those Chinese do so love to say. Maybe it's "lucky" as well.

I especially love the outright bragging of the ability to pick up anything with chopsticks once you master the basic maneuver. So tomorrow I think I'll go lift some cars with my chopsticks, just because I can.
