Are you sure they were cops and not Rosicrucians defending Lamar on the sly? Treasure seekers and zealots alike have been tracking Lamar down for years. Did you spot anyone wearing a fez or a funny tattoo?
After consulting the dictionary as per what Rosicrucians exactly are, I'm fairly certain that that was exactly who was there while I was. And now that I think about it, there was also a man with a leather jacket and a fedora with some obnoxious little Asian boy, too. Weird...
